Dried Beans

Dried beans make a great addition to soup & chili!

  • Dehydrate: 9 hrs

Ingredients

16 oz. fresh beans or 1 can (kidney, pinto, lima, black, etc.)

Directions

1Remove shells and wash, omit if using canned beans

2Pretreat by blanching in boiling water. Do not fully cook beans.

3Drain

4Dry beans at 125ºF until hard brittle for approximately 9 – 13 hours.
