Due to the pungent scent when drying, we recommend dehydrating onions in a garage or on a patio. Dried onions are great in soups, salads or cooked dishes. If you want to use them for flakes or powder, we recommend storing as dried and grate when needed for the best flavor retention.

Dehydrate: 8 hrs
1Remove the root and top. Peel off the paper shell.
2Cut the onion into 1/4" slices or 1/8" rings.
3Dry at 155° for 4-8 hours or until until leathery.
